Overview

The Power to the Patient (P2P) prototype will use data from implanted CEID devices to help heart failure patients manage symptoms and take quick and appropriate actions to protect their health. The study is funded by AHRQ and led by Dr. Richard Holden and Dr. Davide Bolchini. You can read more about funding and project here.

My Role

I am working as UX designer for the project and collaborating with the researchers from Parkview for designing novel interactive prototype. Currently, I am analyzing the data which is gathered by the researchers and trying to understand the decision-making system of CHF patients. Next step will be designing the prototype and testing it in the lab setting.

The Problem

How do CHF patients take decisions? and how might we help them in taking better decisions?

This is an ongoing project so I cannot display any artifacts publicly since we haven’t published our research yet. However, I would be more than happy to talk with you in person about the project. Till then read more about the project here.
